| Finally, on Sept. 5th, three days before the |

| freshmen arrived, we were able to move in our rooms. |
| 2008 school year begins with construction still |

| occuring, but, it's a new beginning. |
| When the R.S.A.'s and R.A.'s arrived we became |

| movers. Upstairs, downstairs ... sofas, beds ... 447 bedrooms, over 100 livingrooms! |
| Believe it or not we have had sirens go off again |

| and again. This is how we kept our spirits up |
Sometimes the only way to hide how scared you are inside is to put on a big happy face.
With 48 young women under them, each R.A.'s first priority is the safety of their girls. The night of the storm
several of us took our positions late due to getting all of our young women to safety. Three R.A.'s were not in
position and were literally holding on for dear life as the storm sucked at them. Those of us that did make it to the
hallway were saved by the position of the hall. Little did we know a tree had been blown through the building and laid
at our backs. We knew the building had caved in on us. Looking back I know there is only one reason any of us
are alive, GOD'S GRACE.
| It is so exciting that new dorms are under roof |

| They will be ready by September 1st. (April) |
| I feel mixed emotions when I see this new |

| construction on the site where I spent 3 yrs. in Hurt. (April) |
