Academic success is in direct proportion to musical studies.  Victoria's musical and academic condensed bios attest to this fact.

Victoria is the 2008-2009 President of Union's S.A.I. and was the recording secretary for 2007 - 2008.  In May 2009 she was awarded the S.A.I. Sword of Honor for service above and beyond her requirements as an officer/member.  She directed S.A.I.'s annual fundraiser, UNION ALL-SING for 2008 and 2007, which raised monies to benefit Union's recovery as well as S.A.I.'s charity.  Union's S.A.I. chapter is the largest fundraiser in the state for the national program, People to People, an international program that places instruments in schools that  need them.  Victoria is the 2008-2009 V.P. of Union's "Singers".   The "Singers" are Union’s touring choir, touring both regionally and internationally.  This past year they performed three concerts in Paris.  Membership is by audition, and includes participation in the "Choral Union".   Victoria was selected to be the Carl Grant Event Center Hostess for Union University's visiting dignitaries. The Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia chapter at Union selected Victoria as their chapter Sweetheart.  Victoria is an active member of ACEI, Association for Childhood Education International and MENC, National Association for Music Education.

Victoria promotes her platform A.I.M.S.  by writing letters to educators and legislators.  She is available to present her platform to individuals and groups.  Victoria worked together with her home school board to fight for music in education at the state level.  Together they are working to educate legislators on how music and education can be united for the common good of each student.  Additionally, she promotes her platform with young children when she reads and sings to them as "Belle".

Victoria began performing at the age of 5 with her sister and five other girls as "Southern Sisters", a non-profit singing group that performs for children's hospitals, rehabs, retirement homes and various community fundraiser's.  Her sister Rebekah, Diana DeGarmo (American Idol R.U.), Heather Johnson, Hayley Perrault, Ansley Larisy, and Rachel Leming started off at festivals.  In their third year Heather was diagnosed with cancer.  That year they began performing for Eggleston and Scottish Rite Children's Hospital fundraisers as well as individuals' cancer fundraisers.  Over the next 17 years they performed at the World Congress Center in Atlanta, numerous festivals including The Strawberry Festival, Lawrenceville Heritage Days, Yellow Daisy Festival,  and Lilburn Days.  The goal was to set aside time when they were not competing against each other and to come together in a unified effort for the communities' benefit.  Today, 17 years later, Victoria and her sister continue to entertain at rehabs and festivals in TN,  FL and GA.

Her musical training:  Piano 18 yrs; Voice 17 yrs.; Violin 4 yrs; French Horn 8 yrs; Percussion (chimes, bells, gong, vibraphone) 2 yrs.
